Celebrating Mr & Mrs Swoyer at the American Club of Coplay

What a beautiful day we had for Johanna & Kyle’s wedding last month at the American Club of Coplay in Pennsylvania. Johanna and Kyle tied the knot at the courthouse last year so this wedding was a celebration reception with their family and friends. It was a perfect day of laughter and love! 

The sun was shining on their unseasonably warm wedding day and the fall foliage was at its peak beauty which perfectly complemented Johanna’s rustic fall theme. Fall florals, rustic decor, and wine-colored bridesmaid dresses all brought her autumn vision to life. The bridal party even donned cowboy boots! If you’ve been following me for any amount of time now you know I’m a country girl at heart, so of course I had to snap some photos of those!

Something I’ve been loving lately as a wedding photographer is seeing how couples incorporate their unique personalities, lifestyles, and family into their wedding day. Johanna and Kyle did just that in so many aspects of their wedding. The groomsmen wore superhero t-shirts and Johanna & Kyle's moms did floral arrangements and desserts. Johanna is a pig farmer by trade and the couple’s caterer, Meat Wagon BBQ, used her pigs in their cuisine. One of the funniest moments and most personal touches was when Johanna wanted a baby cow at her wedding, but it wouldn't work logistically, so her mom rented a cow costume and dressed up as a cow as a surprise!
