Studio Sessions at Fox & Finch
Hi, friends! It’s getting colder out there and the time for outdoor photos is quickly coming to a close. Lucky for us, photo sessions don’t have to stop just because the weather isn’t agreeable.
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know I rent a beautiful studio space in Fountain Hill that’s the perfect place for indoor photos. The Fox and Finch Studio is always my go-to spot for indoor sessions. Open since 2014, Fox and Finch features 1,700 square feet of usable photo space. It’s the perfect place for any type of indoor session or even a microwedding! Here’s three reasons I love using Fox and Finch for my studio sessions:
We have full use of all props and furniture in Fox and Finch’s inventory to create the perfect session set-up.
When I first came across Fox and Finch, what interested me most was the eclectic variety of furniture and props they house in the studio for photographer use. From couches to loveseats to church pews, tables, area rugs, and plants, we can work together to create any number of combinations of looks for your session. I’ve shot holiday minis, professional headshots, branding sessions, family sessions, and boudoir sessions at the studio, each time utilizing different furniture pieces and props. There truly is no lack of options to personalize your session to be exactly as you’ve envisioned it.
There is an abundance of beautiful, natural light streaming in through the studio windows.
Though my preference is always to shoot outdoors, if outside isn’t an option, Fox and Finch Studio provides an excellent alternative. Large windows line both sides of the studio walls offering us a little slice of nature indoors. There is no more gorgeous light than natural light and the Fox and Finch studio has lots of it.
The studio offers a variety of rolling backdrops and seamless papers to create the perfect backdrop for your photos.
Fox and Finch’s studio space is a photographer’s dream. However, if you’re looking to create a specific look in regards to photo background, they offer several options to do just that as well! The studio has two-sided rolling backdrops that we can move and turn in any direction. Even better, they feature different colors and textures on each side so you have even more options to choose from for your photos. Interested in a cake smash? No problem! The studio carries a rainbow of options of seamless papers that we can roll out for your little one’s session and clean up easily when we’re finished.
These are just a few of the many reasons I love taking my clients to the Fox and Finch Studio for their sessions! While many of my winter month sessions are scheduled there, the studio is open year round for your session. If you’re looking for something a little different, definitely consider the Fox and Finch Studio as the location for your next session. You’ll be amazed at what we can create there together!
