Samantha & Scott’s Wedding

I cannot believe it has already been a month since Samantha & Scott’s amazing wedding day!

Samantha and Scott had the most perfect backyard wedding where they exchanged vows in the company of their closest friends and family. While I do love all of the fun and craziness that comes with large wedding celebrations there is something to be said about a smaller, laidback, and intimate wedding day. The love for the couple is so prominent among the guests and the day is often an incredible family affair; Samantha and Scott’s wedding was truly a perfect family affair.

For the ceremony, the couple’s beloved fur babies (Charlie and Abe) walked down the aisle along with Samantha and Scott’s niece and nephew who were the flower girl and ring bearers. Scott's brother, Alex, officiated the ceremony in the most perfect, fun-loving way. He had all of the guests laughing throughout the ceremony all the while dressed in a white linen pants suit with a "clergy" tag. He looked so sharp! Sam was very blessed to have her Nana, Mormor, and Mosar (grandparents) in attendance there to share in the couple’s special day. When it came time for the reception, this group LOVED to dance and have fun. I absolutely loved seeing Samantha radiate so much happiness as she danced the entire evening away on the dance floor. 

It was such a privilege to photograph Samantha, Scott, and their super sweet family; they had me feeling like I was a part of their family from the beginning. It was a super comfortable, easygoing, beautiful day that allowed me to capture the true essence of Samantha & Scott’s intimate wedding.
