Because my full sessions are defined by image count and not time, it’s not at all surprising potential clients want to know how long to expect to be at a session, especially if their group includes small children. People are also often curious if ten minutes is enough time to capture all the photos and poses they’d like during a mini session.The answer to both questions is an overwhelming YES. How do I know and how am I so confident? The answer is simple…it’s all in the numbers.

Mommy & Me mini sessions in Lehigh Valley, PA. Let’s celebrate moms! Mother’s Day is right around the corner and to celebrate I am once again offering Mommy & Me Mini Sessions! These short sessions focus on the bond between mom (and any woman who fulfills a mom role) and her babies (big or small).

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know photography wasn’t my initial career path. I spent 13 years as an elementary teacher. Though I loved my time in the classroom, when I began experimenting with our family’s DSLR camera in 2016, I discovered a passion I didn’t know I had for artfully capturing moments in time forever. I treasure every photo I have of my sons at each stage of their growth and development. Those moments cannot be recreated and would be only distant memories if I hadn’t snapped the shutter.

Another year has flown by in what feels like the blink of an eye. Maybe it’s because this was my first year as an “official” business, or maybe it’s because the kids are a year older and just as, if not busier than last year, or maybe it’s just that time seemingly speeds up with each passing day.

Choosing outfits on the daily can be a hassle. Deciding what to wear for your photo session, especially if you are coordinating outfits for a family, can be downright daunting! No one understands this challenge better than me.

Though we live in a digital age, there is so much value and importance in printed images. Children love to see photos of themselves around the house (there have been studies done that prove this is beneficial to their development), grandma loves having a new photo to proudly display in her kitchen, and fond memories come flooding back to couples when they see their wedding picture in their living room.

Samantha and Scott had the most perfect backyard wedding where they exchanged vows in the company of their closest friends and family. While I do love all of the fun and craziness that comes with large wedding celebrations there is something to be said about a smaller, laidback, and intimate wedding day.

Though our daily lives have recently been consumed with pumpkin patches, Halloween costumes, and candy corn, don’t be deceived — before you know it, visions of sugar plums will dance in our heads. It might be autumn, but soon the flurries will fall and the jingle bells will be tinkling here in the Lehigh Valley!
